Instructor – Modules 1 to 5 and UFE Prep
- Facilitate classroom sessions and online delivery for CA students throughout Western Canada. Course content includes accounting, assurance, tax, finance, governance, risk management and cost-managerial accounting, as well as case writing strategies. I am able to teach any equivalent course in a financial management undergraduate program including Introduction to Accounting, Cost Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Audit, Tax or Advanced Accounting.

Audit Manager – Canadian and US public company engagements
- Contracted on an annual basis to manage complex and high-risk public company audits. Supervise teams of five to eight audit, tax and valuation staff members.
- Responsible for research and analysis of accounting, audit and financial reporting issues.

- Throughout my tenure at BDO (1997-2001, 2003 to present) I have been responsible for research and analysis of accounting, audit and financial reporting issues for public companies listed in Canada and the United States. Recently this has included a significant research emphasis on the transition to IFRS.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
- Board Member, Coach Coordinator, Vancouver Minor Hockey Association, 2007-2010. In 2009 our association was selected as BC Hockey association of the year. Our nomination referred to the numerous clinics and summer hockey camps that were initiated during my term as Coach Coordinator.
- Coach, various youth baseball and hockey teams, 2002-2010. I coached the Zacatecas State (Mexico) youth roller hockey team from 2002-2004. During this time we negotiated with the Zacatecas State youth sports governing body to build a dedicated roller hockey rink which was completed in 2004.
